The following is included in the Enverify™ kit:

Foil pouch that includes five Enverify™ Test surfaces: 3 test surfaces are coated with microorganisms and 2 test surfaces have no cells. The five test surfaces appear identical, so the live vs blank surfaces are blinded. 

Clear, zipper bag with label (for shipping contact plates) 

Clear, zipper bag (no label, for used test surfaces) 

Adhesive dots strip(s), Qty. 2: These are provided to adhere the Enverify™ samples to the work surface. 

Convenience labels for contact plates. These labels are preprinted with “sample# 1-5” to correspond to the Enverify™ test surface samples with each contact plate. Note, it is critical that the label on the contact plate match the Enverify surface so the blank vs live samples may be accurately identified. 

Enverify™ kits are shipped FedEx 2 day. We ship Monday-Wednesdays (for delivery to the recipient on Mon-Friday). Typically, once an order is received, it is shipped within 1 week. Usual turnaround is 2-10 business days for delivery of the kit. Please contact us at info@stratixlabs.com if you need an adjustment to that timeline.

Enverify™ kits should be stored in a refrigerator (2-8°C).

Yes, Enverify™ kits do have an expiration date and should be used before this date to ensure the number of cells on the test surfaces remain consistent. The expiration date can be found on the Enverify™ kit label.

The IFU is printed and included in the shipment. It can also be found on the Enverify™ website.

General working areas are acceptable as long as BSL-1 precautions are taken.

Use basic BSL-1 precautions when using Enverify, including protective equipment (wearing gloves, lab coat), cleaning surface before/after use, hand washing, and no eating or drinking.

Dispose of Enverify Test Surfaces in a biohazardous waste stream. If you do not have a biohazardous waste stream, follow the instructions in the Enverify IFU.

The Enverify™ kit is designed for use with non-specific growth agar such as tryptic soy agar/ soybean-casein agar. Neutralizers are often included in the agar formulation. The neutralizers required depend on the disinfectants that are used in a particular laboratory or pharmacy. Common neutralizers include lecithin and polysorbate.

Do not use Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA). SDA is commonly used for surface sampling to quantify yeasts and molds. SDA is not compatible with Enverify™.

You will receive your performance report via email. Your certificate will be shared digitally via certifier.io.
